Q |
What are your
thoughts on Brett Favre’s announcement to
retire?
Kiley Case, Salem, Va. |
Past Q&A

 |
|
A |
I will really miss
watching him play. He’s a very special player
who’s always fun to watch and gives 100% effort
all the time. We Green Bay fans have been real
lucky to have him on the team for the last 16
seasons.

Q |
I will be at the
Atlanta race in March, so what is the hardest
part about racing in Atlanta?
Scott Cameron, Missouri |
|
A |
The hardest thing
about racing at Atlanta is getting your car to
be fast on new tires and still handle good when
the tires get worn out. It’s a very abrasive
track and the tires wear out fast.

Q |
What would you
consider your “Welcome to NASCAR” moment? Good
or bad. Thanks and good luck.
Bryan Butler, Belmont, Ohio |
|
A |
When we won our first
Busch race at Rockingham, I went in the grass
and did donuts. I wasn’t thinking of the painted
logos and the cup race the next day. I had a
one-on-one with Mr. Helton the following week in
Vegas that I never forgot!

Q |
We were wondering
why you are not running as many Nationwide races
this year?
Ron,
Egg Harbor, Wis. |
|
A |
Just like Sprint Cup,
the Nationwide series is sponsor-driven. Roush
won’t run cars without sponsors in that series,
and we only have sponsorship secure for 8 races
this year.
