During the
green/white/checker finish in Sonoma, you were
on a tear! Were you aware that by passing two
cars you would be in the 12 spot for points? It
looked like you were eyeing the 12 too, did you
think about taking a shot at him?

Okay Matt, I know
the answer to this probably seems pretty
obvious, but how awesome did it feel to make
that sweet pass under Jr., slide into 8th, and
end up grabbing the 12 spot for the chase … at
Infineon, of all places?? As a fan, it felt like
a WIN, and brought out the victory dance at my
house!!

It felt like a win!!!
I wasn’t aware of where we would be in points. I
usually take a look at the standings on Sunday
night or Monday morning, but really at the track
I just concentrate on finishing as high as we
can every week.

Knock on wood, I
haven’t had one yet. I’ve been fortunate through
the years. I’ve gone home with some headaches
and bruises, but that's about it.
