Matt  Kenseth led over 80 laps at Madison International Speedway on
Tuesday night, but Chris Wimmer led the final and most important laps to take
the victory in the 100-lap Swiss Colony All Star Challenge. Tony
Stewart finished 5th. Ross Kenseth’s
Big 8 race was rained out and will be run on Aug. 14 at MIS.

put just a few laps shy of the finish for fuel, finishing 16th. Kenseth

rain-shortened ‘Coke 340’
Starting
30th in the weather-related Monday running of the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte,
Matt Kenseth sliced through the field to run around the top five. When rain
began to fall on Lap 221, much the field, including Kenseth, dropped into the
pits for service. But racing would not resume and in the end Kenseth was scored
in 10th place on the day. The finish bumps the 17 up another spot in the points
standings to 9th.

Matt Kenseth started
from the pole at Darlington on Saturday night, but good times would not last
long for the #17 team. Adjustments to the car worsened its handling through
out the night. But Drew Blickensderfer and the Killer Bees were able to keep
adjusting and employ creative tire and pit strategy to earn a 10th place
finish. Kenseth moves up two spots to 10th in the driver standings.
